As a Vice President at J.P. Morgan, I am responsible for the creative direction for the Corporate and Investment Bank’s digital marketing program and overall user experience, which includes defining and maintaining the design and brand standards for the bank’s digital media channels.
Specific highlights include:
- Art direction for jpmorgan.com – Provided imagery and art direction for the newly redesigned and fully responsive public website. Serving on the digital strategy team, I developed a set of brand guidelines supporting the new content marketing format.
- Interactive dashboard system and brand guidelines – In collaboration with business leads, front and back end developers, I created the visual design system and user experience guidelines for the client facing website, J.P. Morgan Markets.
- Video guidelines and art direction – I created the video production guidelines for J.P. Morgan’s institutional business. These cover everything from technical requirements, accessibility guidance, visual look and feel to the general processes for videos used at conferences, trade shows, the website and our social media platforms.
- Media-rich advertising – In collaboration with our marketing team in Asia and in-house HTML developers, I provided the creative direction for a set of media-rich animated ads showcasing their regions latest thought leadership reports. The ads were featured in financial publications in Asia.
After graduating from the Rhode Island School of Design Graphic Design program, I immediately began work as art director for Martha Stewart Living Magazine where I learned how to produce and art direct custom photo shoots, creating unique images that tell visual stories. Still passionate about my own studio work, the graduate painting program at Pratt Institute was a logical next step. While in graduate school, I began freelance graphic design work with a variety of companies and industries such as Avon, Dow Jones, Ensambe Travel and New York Presbyterian Hospital.
